    Default Sentimental Stitches quilt pattern.

Has anyone made the pattern "Spring Into Summer Embroidery Garden"? It is a free pattern and I ready to make the picket fence border for the quilt, but some of the measurements to add up. I can change them but want to make sure I'm not missing something. Have e-mail the web site, but not heard from them yet.

Nice idea for a quilt and I was amazed at how many of those flowers I've grown!

You're right, the border cutting instructions don't make sense. I would draft it out (either in EQ or on graph paper) and go from there.

I did draft it out and made the changes. Was a little peeved because I had already cut the 128 2 1/2" squares. Had to change them to 1 1/2". The 2 blue strips between the fence rail could have been changed also. Oh well, I will get it made.

Thanks for posting this quilt, I love embroidery on quilts. Since I'm an all over quilters, I like to put embroidery in the open spaces where most people put a fancy quilting pattern.

    Eva,

Hope you get the fence border worked out. Thanks so much for sharing that beautiful pattern with us. I love hand embroidery.

Have you done all of the embroideries? I would love to see your quilt when it's finished!
