    Default Set in seams

Does anyone know of a good step by step tutorial or video showing how to sew set in seams in the 8 point star pattern? I'm having a lot of problems getting the star to lay without puckers. I just can't seem to get the assembly right to get it to lay flat and straight. I've tried sewing dot to dot but I must be missing something.
Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated!
    Susan

Search youtube for Y seams and you'll probably find a dozen tutorials.

A lot of getting it to lay flat is how you press your seams. Do your instructions tell you which way to press? I just finished a quilt with absolutely no straight seems. All Y seams. Pressing the correct way made the difference in how the the blocks came out.

Thanks so much everyone! Scissor Queen, I did find more using Y seams instead of set in seams. Auntpiggylpn those two websites are great! Marie, I took a look at my seams and they start out in the same direction after sewing the diamonds together but get really wonky and messing after sewing in the squares, I'll have to watch that a lot closer! My quilting board friends are the greatest!
