I hit a wall trying to find this block pattern online. Anyone know where it could be?

I can find many pictures of the block and quilt but no block pattern. I thought it was a public domain block. I guess it's copyrighted. I found a book that has the block pattern so I guess a new book will be in my mailbox soon. :D

To me, it looks like the Tumbling Blocks quilt. The pieces are the same shape, though the colors are handled differently. I've been trying to find a traditional Tumblng Blocks pattern, too, can only find the "Not Your Grandmother's" version which I don't want. I want G'ma's version.

I'm glad you found a pattern, Bella. That is a very pretty block. I can't wait to see the quilt.

I found an EQ5 download here:

It is the 60º diamond pieced into tumbling blocks to form stars. The new book by Marci Baker All My Stars has a strip piecing pattern for the block.

Lisanne, try Inklingo web site for traditional 60º block patterns.

Seven sisters has been around forever! I'm sure it's not copyrighted.

Added - in looking for this pattern, saw that it was suggested as a design for the Confederate Flag.

    Some templates found here

Thank you DA mayer! This is exactly what I was looking for. I love hand piecing in the winter months.
