I would take a quilting cruise with Bonnie Hunter for a week in a landfill! You and your sister are going to have so much fun. I won't cruise because the last time I did (not a quilting cruise), I could have had more fun staying home and setting my hair on fire and I have a sailor's stomach.
You and your sister will make many memories together. I adore my two sisters and we take a trip together every year. Wish they were quilters!! You are both so lucky!

One thing about going on a quilting cruise is that you will have something in common with others on the ship--quilting. It forces you to come out of your room and you get a great chance to meet others. No one knows whether you are a doctor or a dishwasher, you are all quilters. We got a lower room (no windows) so we had no reason to stay in our room except to sleep. DH's hung out together and could come into the quilting room any time they wanted. I had signed up not knowing anyone else and cherish the time I had with other quilters.

The Quilt Shop of DeLand in Florida is also sponsoring a similar cruise in February 2012, sailing from Cape Canaveral.....

Congraulations I know you will have fun. I would definitely get travel insurance though. On my 1st cruise which was a lot of fun and thank God we didn't get sick, even though I did get prescriptions for the scopolomine patches and was fornunate enough that I didn't even have to take the medicine, but on our 2nd schduled cruise, I had to cancell because I needed to have neck surgery and it couldn't wait. We did have the travel insurance and it replaced the majority of the monies that we spent on tickets, etc. You should have a blast on your trip. :):):)
