I am doing the Bonnie Hunter 'Lozenges' leader/ender project for the rest of this year. It goes slowly but I know what I am going to do with the quilt..once I get enough blocks made. I am ending up with so many little trimmed triangles and wondering if anyone has a good use for them. Sewn together, they will only end up as a 1.25 trimmed and that is before sewing them onto another one. I am all for saving things and using up whenever I can but these seem to be getting just TOO small. I thought perhaps there might be a way to incorporate them onto note cards but not sure how. Or perhaps just use them as little practice pieces for different layouts of a bigger size pattern with triangles. So put on your thinking caps and let me know if I should toss or use them.

You can use them for miniature or doll quilts, or string a bunch of them together and use them for a pieced sashing, a pinwheel sash would be really cute with tone on tone blocks.

I think the note cards are a great idea. I received two from Rhonda who diligently organizes the contests on this board. You can find her avatar there and send her an PM (personal message). She knows someone on the board who makes them (I think). She is a great one to ask question about EQ and miniature quilts.

You can use them for corner stones, I do that I lot.

I was planning on using mine for a border. I got them from making snowballs. I sewed the line for the snowball, then another 1/2" closer to the corner. then cut.

You could use them for making smaller blocks, like pinwheel blocks or anything else you could think of for a HST block. They could be used for a doll quilt or for notecards.
