Default Sew Perfect Table owners: Question about foot pedal room!

Hi guys. I'm reposting this question bc I posted it to a thread from '14. So here goes:

For those of you who have the Sew Perfect tables, do you feel like the horizontal steel bar on the bottom that connects the legs on either side gets in your way when you step on the pedal? I'm about to pull the trigger on purchasing and I'm concerned I'm going to be annoyed that that bar is going to be in my way. Thoughts?

I don't have one but it seems the bar is high enough off the floor not to be a problem. Sew Perfect has a Facebook page so questions can be answered fast.

I have their table for my Janome 6600 and the bar is far enough back that it doesn't get in my way. It actually helps keep my pedal from drifting too far away for me to reach it - if it gets far enough away to touch that bar it's an uncomfortable reach for me anyway so it's not an issue for me at all.

If you have very long legs and need more distance between chair and pedal than average it might bother you. (I'm 5'6" and have room to spare.)

I really like my table, I've had it a couple years now and zero regrets. It's built like a tank and I was able to adjust everything so it's the perfect height and fit for my machine. No more bouncing machine as I sew!
