    I just came home from Sears...buying more needles. They have a book called Sew it up - Presser Foot Technique Book by Kenmore...it was $28.00 - for me that's a lot, but the book really looked good and worth it. I went to pay for it and its selling for half the price- $14.00...there is no sign stating that its on sale. So far I think this book is totally worth it!!! It explains all the foots and techniques - nice easy to read, large print, colored pictures...for me to buy this...that says something...I do most of my research on line.

    is it a book for all types of pressure foots for other machines or just Kenmore parts

    It for all Kenmore horizontal sewing machines and Kenmore Elite/Kenmore embroidery machines. It has a picture of all of the feet...what they are used for...what setting to use for all kinds of stuff. Very helpful...this should be included when buying the machine since there is nothing in the manuals for Kenmore...good machine but poor instructions. I have been learning alot from others.

    I have seen similar books, how to use the feet and what they can do is pretty universal :wink:
    Most machines have the same feet available, and it really opened my eyes to a lot more creative uses for my machine and it's stitches.
    Having the correct foot for some techniques has really made sewing a lot easier for this self taught sewer :D:D:D
