I hate when that happens, been there, done that. If you need to rip out what you've done so far, rip it and then wait for another day when you can begin again and most of all, forgive yourself, we've all done it at one time or another.

I feel like I have good company! That has happened quite a few times here. Usually I put it away before I cut it to pieces and into tiny pieces for the trash.
One thing it has done for me is that appreciate it more when it is finally done!!

Been there, done that as the saying goes. If one cuts every 4th stitch on one side then the thread on the other side will usually pull right out. An emery board (nail file) rubbed across the cut stitches will usually pull them right out. Hope it goes quickly for you.

For when I DO rip...I have discovered the scalpel-style seam rippers and use those most of all. One of those with a fresh blade make ripping stitches almost fun! Mine is a Havel, with a curved blade. Love that thing.
