What part of Arkansas? I live in Bryant and my quilting friend lives in Benton.

I prefer sewing alone. I am not much of a group person. Though i do not mind getting together with another individual to figure out new techniques or to get/give guidance. But not to sit and quilt together. I do not even watch tv nor listen to the radio while i work.

Sometimes my husband will come in the room where i am working on a project, and he will try to steal kissies from me... my response is usually, "Oye! You almost made me sew a crooked line." He usually does it on purpose to see me get riled up. lollll. He loves the intense look on my face when i am trying to concentrate.

I sew alone. I don't have a sewing brain and it takes all my concentration to remind myself what I am doing. I enjoy classes but if I can...would rather figure it out on my own...a lot of trouble to haul it all out and all back in and upstairs to my sewing room.

But love to shop with friends and share what I know with them if they are sewing on a project.

None of my friends have any interest in sewing or quilting. My husband, daughter and dog are usually in the house--it's an open floor plan so we're pretty much in the same room.
