I use a nice, height-adjustable computer chair! It's perfect for me.

Starting to sound like a broken record but I use an adjustable office/computer chair that fits my fanny. Got it 10+yrs ago at Office Depot for about $60.00.

I have a computer chair, but if your back is giving you trouble, it could be a posture thing. I sometimes find myself sitting in a position that my mother would say "sit up straight" to. Try putting a cushion by your lower spine.
