I finally broke down and got a Heavenly seating chair. After years of using an office chair from the 60s, and being very sore if I sewed more than 30 minutes at a time. Best investment I've made! I'm tall and heavy so not just any chair would work........and believe me I tried out many.

I need a new chair but so costly, I got an office type chair from a furniture store going out of business but with severe back issues I wonder if anything would be comfortable. I usually sew in short periods because of pain. I did get a special lumbar pillow at the chiropractor that is nice, has a strap to help secure to a chair but because back isn't solid piece straps don't work as well. The bungee chair sounds nice but no stores like that up here. Not a lot of choices for shopping up here...
