I just bought a new chair at a thrift shop for $15. I wouldn't want to pay full price until I had exhausted all the re-sale shops in the area and "test driven" their chairs.

My chair cost 9.99 at Savers. It is far more quality than I would have bought new in a moderate price range, and I love it.

I got mine at Staples here in Ontario & really like it. All I did was remove the arm rests because I found they got in my way. Was pretty reasonable too.

I don't know if there is a Costco near you, but I got an amazing chair there for under $100. It is adjustable in every way, even the arms go up and down for getting close to your work, It also has great lumbar support.

Mine is from IKEA and it's a traditional office chair. Very reasonable price and easy to put together!

Just got a great chair at Costco with arms that fold back so you can use it as an armless chair or a chair with arms.
It has a mesh seat and back. It was about $90. Love it.

I have a very comfortable office chair that rolls on wheels. Looks almost new and I got it at Good Will for $10.00. When business's remodel they donate and I see them there quite often.

I have an armless office chair for now, I'd like to get one of those adjustable rolling stools that you see at the doctor's office when my chair wears out. I find that stools tend to encourage better posture for me and I have less back pain as a result.

I don't use the back of a chair when sewing and found a massage stool works great for me. https://www.earthlite.com/pneumatic-massage-stool.html It's easy to set upside down in the car when I go to a workshop. I adjust the height ( a tiny bit) during the day to help relieve the stress on my legs when sitting in one position.
