Has any one had luck with after market lights from Amazon or Ebay ?
want a nice bright white and led . Just so many out there and price is all over the place.

I got a Bendable light from MSQC you can find them under notions. Led light place it where ever you want it. Think they may be on sale.

This is a link to an LED light strip for sewing machines on Amazon that some people were talking about in a group I'm in. I saved it because I'm interested in it as well. The people that bought them for their machines were really pleased with them.

InspiredLED has a setup specifically for sewing machines. It's about $30. Works great and awesome customer service.

    I bought This one: http://www.walmart.com/ip/14146226?w...980929&veh=sem

It is amazingly bright and easy to direct the light just where needed. I searched around and found it somewhere for under $30.

I bought this one too, from a sewing machine dealer at a show, paid around $30 for it (or less) and it works great.

I have the Bendy Bright Light attached to the side of my machine and love it. I also bought the 6 LED light strip which I attached under the harp. It was great for piecing, but got knocked off while I was fighting the bulk of the quilt while quilting. I tried SuperGlue, but it still was knocked off while quilting. I'm disappointed it didn't work because the light is bright.

Watch this you tube video. DH just made me one, but haven't tried it yet. Much cheaper than buying one specifically for your sewing machine.
