    I have an auto threader on my machine. It is easier to do it myself. Tried the white paper behind the needle to check that out and will use that method when I need to. I have no line bi-focals too and they make doing some things harder.

    Now that I'm over 50, I understand while grandma always kept me nearby when she sewed...to thread the needle for her!

    That is exactly what I use on my Featherweight and machines without a threader on it. Works great.

    The treader on my Brother works perfectly every time!! Otherwise I'd have to ask DH to thread the needle for me.

    my needle threader does not work with the topstich needles it seems to work okay with the universal needle
