    If you buy the titanium needles, you won't have to change very often at all. I get mine at Superior Threads. I also use the titanium needles on the longarm.

    I got my Janome 6600 this summer and use Organ needes, 12 for piecing and 14 for quilting. I also like Topstitch and Titanium from Superior Threads.
