I would let the Baby Lock company know about this. They are suppose to take classes in order to repair them.

I am sorry for the bad problems, but I wouldn't stop there. I'd be on the phone the next day they are open, and complaining. See why this happened and let them know that you are NOT going to put up with it. I'd give them another chance, no charge of course, and let them know that their reputation is at stake. You have a lot of friends who need machine service and they will know what kind of service you get from them. I wouldn't be ugly or mean spirited about it but firm and that you are unhappy and will not afraid to let others know if they don't correct the problem.

My Bernina 440 only goes to Bernina authorized dealer that I love. I drive 200 miles to the shop and the owner services it the same day, while I shop in the city. I always make an appointment. Love the shop!!!! Incidently, this is not the dealer I bought it from...

Back to the shop but it is 30 miles away and we are supposed to get snow or ice tomorrow. That was $120.00 wasted. I do not have a lot of faith in this repair shop but I hope that they will make it good. :-(
I took my 11000 machine to a shop (50 miles away) that said they could put the jump stitch cutter in for me while I waited. Hours later, and I do mean hours later, I left with my machine. The next day I went to use it and the embroidery arm would not open. Back to the shop it went, when I got it home that night the arm opened but the grinding noise when sewing was horrible and very loud. When someone asks me what shop services 11000's you can bet I tell them my story.

Why don't you ask some of the fabric stores, or were ever you bought your machine. Some of the fabric stores have repair men.
