So I have been watching this for two days -- Monday and Tuesday. If you are in the market for a long arm or sit down machine for quilting, this is a good place to see several different kinds and how they work.
I have been keeping this on as background while I do other things. So far, I give it a 6 out of 10 -- but if I wanted a quilting machine it would be more like and 8 out of 10.
@rryder Sorry you didn't make the finals. I think if the judging had been in person and not from photographs, you would have made it. A 2 dimensional photo never takes the place of a human's 3 dimensional eyes.

Like you, I'm keeping it on in the background mostly while I sew and clean. Some of it is really interesting.

DIdn't know about Rob's quilt until the second to last day of voting, but I think it should have at least placed, with all the techniques used in it.

Thanks for the kind words and votes y’all. I’m disappointed that we didn’t place, but the quilts that placed are all pretty amazing and I can see that we needed to take better photos that showed the trapunto etc. They are going to continue doing these shows from what I understand, so there’s always next year .
