I just bought a Singer Sewing Machine Mod. 719. Has anyone had or still have this machine? It just straight and reverse stitches. Seem to work well for piecing and backup when my Janome goes in the shop. Cost me $15. I figured at that price I couldn't go wrong.

Sounds like you got a great deal. Would like to see a picture of it.

Welcome to the board and great deal you got there. I think you'll enjoy working with it. The old Singers run smoothly. Just remember to make sure that you oil and grease it before you start sewing.
    Enjoy! :XD:
