Happy Christmas and almost New Year everyone!

I have a question that I would like to post to all those that watch the Sewing with Nancy show.
I live in Oregon and watch her show on OPB. I was getting quite tired of seeing the same episodes over and over again and wanted to find out what was going on. I wrote the show and asked them if maybe she decided to stop running the show. I was informed that Nancy was still making new segments and they didn't know why I wasn't getting new episodes that maybe OPB had quit running them.
Off to my trusty computer keyboard I posed the question to OPB. Where was Sewing with Nancy? It took them a couple of weeks to answer (nevermind the disclaimer, we'll get back to you in 24 to 48 hours!) A nice lady wrote me back telling me I must be watching on the wrong OPB channel (we have 4 if you include OPB radio and Create, now that channel is another story and complaint cause it's awful!) and gave me a list of times the show was on. I gave her the benifit of the doubt and watched again. Same thing rerun after rerun. So I wrote again and again thinking maybe that getting the channel over the air sans cable I wasn't getting new episodes and again I was told that they are airing new episodes. Wrong wrong wrong. I think I've watched the "hankie" episode about five times!
My question to all those that watch Sewing with Nancy and especially those in Oregon. Are you getting new episodes? Do you watch over the air or cable or dish? I would really hate to think those of us that watch TV via the air waves are missing new episodes. Now OPB swears they are getting and airing new episodes but they sooo don't know what they are talking about!
    Thanks so much!

i watch her on PBS on Sat. morn at 8.30 don't really get to watch cause that's when i'm getting in the shower to go to work but they seem to be new , fact last week she was doing a quilt as you go but not the Cotton theory, it used flannel for batting and was reversible.

I get the same reruns too... we have 4 PBS channels here on cable plus the Create channel, through Comcast. It makes me wonder why we aren't getting the new shows either here in WA. I just noticed they ran the hankie one again this morning.

Vickie! I'm in La Pine!!! I thought OPB was only on one station. I'm on DishNetwork and get it on channel 11. Are you on cable or satellite? What channels did they tell you it was on? I've been recording it...and just looked. ALL the programs I've recorded in the last few months have been made in 2009.

I have Dish Network, and the episodes are different each week. Maybe it is your cable provider?

i get her on wednesdays at 1:30 in the afternoon. and am seeing new episodes. you could visit her web site, there is a list of the episodes so you could see what episode is airing each week and there may be a list of channels in your area carrying the new ones. :-) i have had re-runs since thanksgiving...figured it was just the season

I don't have cable or dish I'm on over the air with an antenna. I think it's weird that some people are getting new episodes and some are not. I Thought maybe it was that I am over the air but it seems that it is both ways
My channels are 11.1, 11.2, 11.3 create, 11.4 which is the radio station.
All you on the dishnetwork and direct TV are you getting your PBS channels from Portland or from a different state? Maybe that is the difference.
I'm going to call Bend Broadband and find out even though I don't have them.
I think I've seen every episode of her show 14 times and still watch them!
The other ones America Sews and Fon's and Porter are new as far as I can tell.
