I have been watching quilting and arts shows on PBS on Saturday's for many years. I love them. There are many more in the Seattle area than Portland, but take what one can get.

One big disappointment is Quilting Arts with Pokey Bolton...why is it necessary to CRAM 3 or 4 artists and their techniques into a 30 minute segment? I won't watch it anymore...it's too frustrating and I only learn enough to know I didn't get anything from the program. I watch my quilting shows online. No TV.

I used to get quilting and craft shows on the BYU channel, but my cable did away with it.
A BIG Amen to that. The only show we now get is PBS and Quilting Arts which isn't the kind of quilting I'd be doing anyway. Ah well, at least it's quilting.

I watch sewing and quilting shows on my PBS network. They have shows on Wednesday starting at 1:00 until 3:00 ana Friday starting at 1:00 untill 2:00. A lady in our quilt group has a dish and she gets a station that has sewing and craft shows on it. I don't know where she gets service from. You can contact your PBS network and request they carry the quilting and sewing shows. Usually they try to show programs that enough people request. If you do watch, please be sure to support your PBS with what you can afford.

The public channels like PBS usually have them. I don't get up that early, so I record them to watch later.

Interesting twist here. One of the PBS stations stopped running Fons & Porter but, picked up Quilt in A Day. I'm sorry to lose the one, but I love Eleanor Burns and am happy to get her now.
