I love to make kits...it is so much fun and the cutting mess is cleaned up all at once!

Great idea! Cutting is the lazy part of a quilt for me. Once it is done, the rest seem to simply fall in place.

Sounds like a fantastic day. I think I'm going to try for this next Saturday, after I drop Gus at a scout event.

    Cheers, K

You inspire me!! I too, made pillow cases over the weekend and have another set cut out. I really need to sort & organize and make kits. I know I would enjoy sewing more if I woud take the time to do that!

I spent most of my weekend sewing strips together for a scrappy quilt. I still have bags of fabric scraps setting around. Not sure if I will need more or not.
    Your day was so productive.

I know this is probably a dumb question but I've never bought a "kit" for a quilt so I am wondering....what do you cut to include in your kit? This sounds like such a fabulous idea!

Don't like to cut but when I do it goes fast. Like to sit and sew and see it all come together as I am a visual person. Glad you had a great day.
