    I like this suggestion! :D

If that isn't an option though, it depends of how you work. For me, I like to cut everything out for my pattern, then sit down and sew it. So it would work best to have the cutting table in with my fabric. Like I said, it all depends on how you work.... :-)
Let us know what you figure out!

I would take out the wall, unless it's wall bearing. Then, you could arch the ceiling/wall. It certainly would make a beautiful sewing room.

I would use the smaller space for storage and find ways to maximize the space in the bigger area.

Thanks everybody for your input. I think I;ve decided to put the large cutting table in with the fabric. You guys sure made me laugh when most of you suggested knocking down walls, I know you probably would go that route but I live with my 85 year old mother and all I could do is picture her downstairs with a sledgehammer, she weighs about 80 pounds so I dont think that can happen. I'm not disappointed enough with my 2 rooms to go to the expense of ripping the basement apart. Isn;t it funny the lengths we go for our quilting?? Again, thanks as always for your help. Wendy

I would put all that relates to cutting and fabric etc. in one room. The other I would have the machines, notions and all things relating to sewing/quilting. I would pick the one with the machines that was the most cheerful and maybe if it had a window. This is if taking the wall out is not an option. My opinion.
