Don't ya just love it when you find a good deal!!!
My sewing room is also in my former DR. I was in the basement and it was so cold down there I decided to come back up to the land of the living.
Now I am happy as a clam and warm...so guess I am more like clam chowder.

Great find!! We have to be innovative when putting our sewing spaces together. I'm always on the lookout at yard/garage sales/thrift stores for items that will do double duty for me.
No, I bought them at a thrift store and they appear to be from a retail shop. The two of them cost less than $100.

Wonderful finds ! I spoke up when my grandma said she was getting rid of an old drop leaf table; and she said what do you want that old thing for -- I relied my sewing - she said you can have it; loaded it that day. And I have been looking for the cubies like you found at the thrift store; but only new at Ikea; still have some time before I can get to re-organizing my sewing area so maybe I can find them at a drive by garage sale.
Your room is coming along great ! More pics when you make progress - please !

Looks great! Especially love the fact that you are making great use of under used space. I will be moving soon and have already promised myself that my quilting space will be the largest area of the house, after all, I spend most of my time there.
