    Wow, what good suggestions. I can't add much to what is already there, but good lighting would be my number one choice. A design wall would be next. And good storage that you can see into.

    Good question - what one just has to Have and I shall be reading this thread with great interest myself as I am in the designing stages for my own sewing room.

    Katie, I saw some bed risers at Wal-Mart that would be stable for your card table and raise it about 6"; probably not perfect height, but better than it is now, and they were only about $15/set of four.

    With the large room you have, I'd have more than one design wall, one for the current project that WILL be finished, the other for UFO type blocks you just have to try, and maybe some day finish, they will always be there for inspiration :!:
