    Default Sewing Today!!!

Members, I am so excited. I told myself last week that I could not sew until I got some paperwork and state sales taxes done. IT IS DONE. I can start a new table runner for a sister-in-law who has a birthday coming up. DH left this morning for AZ for 2 weeks to help my Dad move, so it's just Mom and I. Can't wait. Have a great weekend.

That's great - two weeks bonding time with your Mom. Enjoy.

I have the same problem every January when sales tax is due. I am sewing today too. Yay!

Isn't it funny how we all work on the reward system? Today my task was to get my housework done before I could work at my sewing machine.

I'm celebrating with you. I spent part of my evening cutting the fabric for my first ever lap quilt. It went really quickly. I'm ready to start piecing now.
