I think I will email the manufacturer and include the picture. It's the darndest thing I"ve ever seen. Thanks so much ladies for letting me know that you also quilt with the Isacord thread. I do machine embroidery too so I have all the colors in that so this means that I can spend the day quilting this quilt after all.

Oh...and I think I'm going to send this sewing witch..@$%@#^, ummm, GREMLIN..(sorry) back to Billy's house!

So I see that Murphy has moved on to your place. Sorry about that (and no, I did not send him, HONESTLY!)

Have you had any furniture moving by itself, or weird bumps in the night?

That is quite a story. Wouldn't believe it unless I saw it! Thanks for the tip about the "Sew Slip" and FMQ. I've been thinking about trying that.

I'm not worried about the ole "Battle Axe" she knows I love her and couldn't survive without her!

I did show her the post and she gave me one of those looks and laughed.

You guys are so funny! No, haven't had any furniture moving around or bumps in the night...yet! Billy, I'm glad you jumped in there and "quickly" set the record straight and cleared all that up. Now it looks like MadQuilter has some "splainin" to do...Murphy, huh? Anybody else having problems?

Well, I did what a couple of you suggested. I sent an email along with a picture of the broken spool with an explanation of how it broke. I am curious to see what they will say.

I didn't get any quilting done today either. My two little dustmops were overdue on their weekly grooming so we spent the day getting that out of the way so we can start the week fresh on Monday.
