I was haunting my LQS a couple of weeks ago, and one of the quilts on display they have is called Shade Cascade and the shop owner told me it was a free pattern from Blank Textiles a while back. The piecing looks pretty easy, but I'd like to find the pattern for the block layout. I've checked the Blank website and it doesn't look like it's being offered anymore. The fabrics are there, but not the pattern. Does any one know where I might find a copy?

In case you didn't know, almost every fabric manufacturer has a page (or several) containing free patterns on its site - obviously showcasing the fabrics from the collection. But you can do whatever you want with them, as it's all there for the taking.

Here are a few links for you:

I made the Shade Cascade pattern last year and loved it. It goes together pretty quickly.

    Great links!

The Art Gallery Fabrics link has a pattern that would be perfect for a large print or panel...just a tip for those that sometimes struggle with finding an appropriate pattern.
