Shape Cut
#1
As I posted the other day, I picked up a JT Shape Cut at WalMart on sale. Well I have just found my new favorite tool I love it! I have been in cutting strips because im going to try my hand at a Bargello next. I have just been cutting stips all morning and how wonderfully easy it has been.
If you don't have one, invest in one. It is so worth it.

I use mine for strip cutting to make bowls only.
If you aren't able to hold your rotary cutter at the 90 degree angle needed you will end up with different sized strips. Since I have trouble holding/using a rotary cutter I don't use the shape cutter for my piecing.

I just bought the shape cutter as well. and I love it! but a little too much - as I cut way too many strips of the couple of fabrics I was going to save for matching pillowcases for the 2 quilts I'm making for my nephew. it's just so easy to cut perfect strips with this ruler!
