I do plan to keep it. Even though I need 6 Bali Pop sets (40 strips each set) for the pattern I want to make, it actually uses less than 10 strips from each set ... leaving me with enough strips for 3 more large quilts. If this one is a success (in spite of myself) and is not terribly difficult to construct, I might use those remaining strips to make some of the other quilt choices that are in the book that I bought. I could eventually end up getting my money's worth on both the strips and the book.

Doubled size means double the charm packs right? So I bought 2 and went on my way. Started sewing and realized (ever so slowly) that doubled width and height means 4 times the number of charms .... not 2!!

So you are TOTALLY not alone.

OMG!!! While I was reading this, it hit me....I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH CHARMS! I did this exact same thing. Shoot. I know what I'll be doing first thing in the morning!

Uh, you're hanging out with a group of women who regularly run with scissors. You're in great company :):)

Overbuy? Overbuy? Hahahahahahaha. That's not a word in MY vocabulary. Underbuy = very yucky!!! Overbuy = can't be done!

I "been there..done that" but I comfort myself with the reasoning that it is a challenge for my brain, to keep me young. I know I will never get to a vegetative state of life, with all my challenges.
