I've been watching the u-tube videos on Sharon's quilt basting techniques--I think I'll try it on my girlfriends quilt, has anyone subscribed to her web-site? Is it worth it if you have

If you make quilts to win quilt shows then yes it's worth every penny. Her work is outstanding. If you are dedicated, her instructions are all you need to learn perfection in quilting.

I've never subscribed, but her free videos have helped me a lot. I love how well she explains everything.

never subscribed, but her basting tute was SO VERY helpful to me, used to panic/take ages and stand up for virtually the whole thing; now with thanks to this wonderful lady and a visit to my builders merchant it is such a breeze-------if I were a serious quilter and pieced would subscribe like a shot.

I have not joined but I use her method of basting binding to the back of the quilt with Elmer's School (washable) glue and an iron. It works great - no pins to stick you while you are machine or hand sewing the binding to the back.
