    i was in my local quilt store the other day and they had cutting boards that said they sharpen your rotary blade when you cut with them I don't remember the brand - but has anyone used these and do they work?

    I have seen rulers that sharpen your blade when you cut with them, but not cutting boards...

    Just read about them in my McCalls Quiting magazine. It is supposed to have diamond dust or carbon something or other stuff on the side of the ruler. I have no idea if this would really work.

    oops - meant ruler - not cutting board - meant to also comment on the cutting board you can cut and iron on it. wondered about that also. if these are good things I will put them on my xmas list - my kids are always bugging me on what I want for xmas. will just web shop and send them the links! better than getting a new toaster! lol

    I was looking thru my Keepsake quilting book and saw 'The Cutting edge Rulers' - these are rulers with a diamond powder encrusted edge that maintains sharpness of your rotary blade..

    cutting board/pressing board was at Walmart Didn't notice price tho - was rushed that day.
