I thought I would toss in another suggestion for storing old sewing machine needles, bent pins and such. I use an empty spice jar. It even has the holes (for shaking the spice out) so I just drop the pins, etc. in the hole. Only problem is that even though I washed the container, it still smells like garlic every time I open it! LOL!!!

It's just older cabinets. I assume now that most men use disposable razors, there's no need for them anymore. See? You're not crazy!

I use the plastic tub that bulk chewing gum comes in. Rotary blades sit flat in the bottom. I keep it right by the sewing machine so I can easily open to toss out bent pins as found. (no wee ones, so don't have to worry about the up high!)

Boy, I'm getting more and more examples of how old I am getting - it seems like common knowledge to me what those slits in the back of medicine cabinets are for. But I bet my kids have no idea of what it is used for!
