Me too. I use a large pill bottle and just keep putting in old pins, needles, rotary blades, etc., until it's full. Then I just toss the whole thing and start a new one. Between DH and myself, we have a never ending supply of empty pill bottles.

At first I had a small plastic container, but then decided I probably needed a larger one. Went to the kitchen, washed out a spaghetti sauce jar (we had had spaghetti and meatballs that night), and took it to my sewing machine. There it sits with all the sharps - still with the label on the side! Shame on me, it's embarrassing, but I hate scraping labels off jars.
    :-(

Great repurposing! I'm glad you found a use for it.

    Cheers, K

Good idea. I use an empty frosting can with a small hole drilled in the top. I just drop the needles or pins in the hole and take the top off to add rotary cutting blades.

Oddly enough, I use an actual sharp's container to dispose of my rotary blades. I am a home care nurse that specializes in IV's so I have one for my car! I have always chucked my blades in it, and it never really occurred to me where others might have to toss theirs :-)

I also use a sharps container. It should last me forever.
