In looking at your quilt, I don't see anywhere in it that has a "navy blue" which would contact the sashings. I would go with the Navy Blue for your sashing. I really think that would work the best. Jeanette

I would try an antique gold.
Typically I don't like using one of the colors that is in the blocks as some of the blocks can lose their patterns. Nor am I a fan of using prints as sashing, with few exceptions. I think an antique gold will set the blocks off but still retain the same overall "flavor" of the quilt.

You ladies are awesome, I never would have thought of an antique yellow. I can totally visualize how great that will work. I knew the cream wasn't speaking to me and I feared using a burgundy or blue would make parts of the blocks disappear.

I think the problem w/ your sashing is that it is not the same shade as the background of your blocks - it is too white. It looks like the background of some of the blocks is a solid, use that fabric.
I say audition all different colors and take pictures. I found out w/ my current project, sometimes the contrasting fabric isn't always the best.

It looks like the cream sashing between your blocks does not make the blocks show up or "pop". Maybe a burgundy sashing would look good with a cream corner stone. Just a thought. However, your blocks are beautiful and the quilt is going to be gorgeous when you finish what ever you chose for sashing.

I think the burgundy is the way to go, it will set the blocks off nicely. You might consider the cornerstones (if you still want to use them) in one of the blues. But, you absolutely did the right thing in auditioning the fabric first.
