Congratulations! Five dollars is quite a deal, I'm so glad it was you that found it and not some other person who just wanted a used machine to patch with.
I'm buying a house with the contents and among a ton of antiques there is a White Rotary machine. It looks more like an old Singer though and has the fancy gold and red swirly stuff all over it. I can't wait to really open up the case and look it over from top to bottom!

Way cool!! You are soooo lucky!!!
This was the same machine that my Mom had when I was growing up -- I made just about everything I wore when I was in school on that machine. After I gradiated from HS she won a New Home and sold the White. I was bumbed -- still am. It had an awesome straight stitch. Mom used to take it completely apart and clean it once a year.

Pam-it was just a "drive by--oh, let's stop". The lawn was totally covered up with stuff--too much really to look at. I'd never seen the case before & wondered what was in it for $5. Opened it up & it was mine!!
