    Were there two guys throwing it into the garbage truck? If not it was just the empty cabinet. Those things are HEAVY with the machine inside. Still an awful event to witness.

    I hacked up an old singer cabinet with a sawzall a couple of years ago. Grandma had painted it a thousand times and cut some of the length off the legs cause her chair wasn't quite right. I kept the Singer 201 that was in it though.

    I would have taken it to goodwill, if I didn't want it. I don't understand throwing away things that someone else may be able to use, even if it needs work. Just me.

    I have enough trouble trying to decide what to do with my own excess stuff, I'm not about to tell some stranger how to get rid of theirs! :shock: :lol:
