Has anyone had a problem with www.fabric.com? My first order came with no problems. I really loved the fabric. My second order is a nightmare. Ordered and they were short 2 and 1/2 yards. Replied to email by calling and picking another fabric same price for the shortage. Get another email stating the try to charge me and it didn't go thru. NOW WAIT my order was $44.81 and was applied on initial order, what do they need to charge me again for? They say I owe a penny, making it $44.81. Called and spoke to them, they need my card number again. This woman now applies another $11.97 against my card not the penny. Call back and I am told they will charge another $43.?? can't rember the cents, when they ship ,which the order was ready to ship this morning. The shipping is free when your order is $35.00 So far the order still has not shipped! The monies have been applied against my card now for more than double what my cost actually was! I 'm I the only one who beleives I have been scammed on this order?

I just received an order (my first) from Fabric.com and didn't have any problems with it. The only thing that I noticed when I opened the box was that all the fabric was shoved into a large white garbage bag that wasn't sealed. The fabric wasn't neatly folded at all. I mean, what if it had rained and the box was wet? All the fabric would have been a real mess.
Whoever is doing their packing leaves much to be desired. But, at least, I did think that their fabric was of high quality.

None of these were good experiences. So sorry to hear that. I hope you can get that billing problem fixed soon.

And the other sad fact is this is a netspend prepaid card which you load money too so it's not a regular bank card account, I thought this would protect me from this by the fact you can't take more than whats on the card. I had been putting together another order I was going to get from them, but obviously that won't happen since they got that money too!

You may want to get with Ditter43 here on the forum, she posted problems with them as well. Hmmmm, sounds like something is really going wrong there. Thanks so much for the heads up with this.

I just sent them an email and said that you belong to a very large quilting group who will no longer buy from them, THATS WHAT.

I know a couple years (?) ago they got bought out by a larger company... wonder if that is part of the problem. Seems the bigger they get the less they care
