I think it is an amazing testimony tot he both of you......I had several QB members donate machines and fabrics for me to have a quilting class with my fourth and fifth grade girls........lit is magic when we can pass our love of quilting along.....

It is so wonderful when generous, giving people share what they don't need with someone who can put to good use. Very heartwarming.

Thank you for telling your wonderful story. In our present world it's nice to know there are still people who live by the golden rule. Best to both of you!

That was a wonderful thing for her to do. It is her way of helping to make Quilts for kids. We have some wonderful members on this board. The beginning of the year (I think), I became aware of one of our members, OldPigLady, who lost everything in a fire (including her pets) and was badly burned. I offerred to send her some fabric as soon as she was out of the hospital. I then posted a thread on here about it and asked if anyone would like to help Jill with a "stash donation". What an outpouring of offers. I believe we had over 50 responses from members (all over the world) that donated just about everything Jill would need to start quilting again. One member (1,000 miles away) even donated a sewing machine and would you believe it was the very same machine that Jill had lost in the fire. GOD Bless BuzzinBumble and all the other giving members we have on this board. You are wonderful and GOD bless you for making those quilts.
BTW, Jill completed her first quilt and gifted it to a disabled friend she had met. Giving back.

I admire you both and thank you for your generosity of both time and materials. Both of you are an inspiration.

You 2 are truly a blessing to this world - you for making & donating these quilts & her, for her unselfish act of sending you all that fabric.
I love this board & have myself met several generous members.
