I just checked it out. In very pale lettering below the image it now says Featured quilt and image seen above provide by Marion Houle, so I guess she saw your comment.

She isn't showing your comment but she did give you credit for the quilt in faint lettering. If it were my quilt I think I would've demanded she remove it because basically she stole your pic and if you hadn't accidentally found it she would have continued to let people think that was her quilt. Now I wonder just how many of her other pics aren't hers?

I'd ask her what percentage of her sales for that ruler you will be given, as compensation for her using your quilt as part of her (obviously monetized) blog.

So, my name wasn't there at first. I emailed them and they got back to me right away. I emailed them a pic of my quilt, and the guy (Sean) just emailed me back saying it was now fixed ... and there it is!!!

    Have to say, I'm impressed!

"Featured quilt and image seen above provide by ...."

That's an interesting way to say it seeing as you didn't provide it, but if you're happy with it, that's great.

I think that is really inexcusable practice by that site. Your name, in very faint type, below the photo could easily be missed, and gives the impression that the quilt was made by them. I really feel that you have a legitimate grievance, and in the first instance, an apology in bold type should be issued to you, and visible on the site, and a promise by them to check ownership of other images that they have used.

Glad to see they added your name - but did you use that ruler to make that quilt?

I wonder if this is a case where the blogger provided the write up and the editor decided it needed a picture (or better picture) and went and found one.

That kind of thing is why I rarely post good quality photos of my quilts (or anything else I've created) online. Once it's out there, you've pretty much lost control of it. I don't want my creations used to shill for sales for someone else. I don't post good quality photos to sites that have a lot of ads either. I'm not interested in making money for someone else off of my quilts. I don't sell them, and nobody else has my permission to make money off of them either.

The website needs to remove that picture and add a picture of a quilt that they have made and or provided. There is not one thing right about this whole thing. It is called "pirating".
