:( Well, I am working on the blocks for the cancer block swap and thought i was feeling better enough to finish putting the squares together for my half square triangles. You need 4 different combos-I am making a ribbon block. Yeah, I put the combos together but wrong!! So I have a couple interesting blocks which I will keep for myself. They turned out ok, just not the same as the whole rest of the batch! So later, when i feel a little better I am off to our LQS and they will just laugh with me. At least I will be able to use them in the quilt I am going to do for my sister's friend who has breast cancer, so all is not lost.....just frustrating.

That's too bad but at least you will have something to show for your mistake.

That is true if you sick or just tired you do make crazy mistakes. When I'm ripping more than sewing I know I need to stop.

Amen to that!!! Once I had a really bad sinus infection and decided to put fusible onto some pieces. Well, I forgot to put my teflon sheet down and got fusible all over my ironing board cover. What a mess!!!

Thank goodness all is not lost with being able to use the sqs. for another quilt. Also glad your LQS still has the same fabric available.

I hope you are feeling better soon. It's too bad but you do get to visit your LQS so that's a plus.
