Should we lock our sewing rooms?
I was at a weekend workshop and received a text from my son that he had a deer for our larder. I was happy for him as it was his second deer in his hunting experience.
When I arrived home, I unloaded my quilt supplies and went to my ironing station to continue a project I was working on. To my amazement the table was missing. I didn't recall moving it or taking it down, so I asked family members if they had seen the table.
"It's in the garage," my son answered, "We used it to butcher the deer."
I must say he did a nice job of keeping it clean and cleaning it up when he delivered it back to where it belonged.

Well at least he cleaned it up. I think I would give it a good wipe down myself with bleach water and wait for it to dry before moving it back. You have some nice meat for the freezer and you'll get over your ironing station desecration but I bet a lock on your room sounds mighty good.
