    Ouch! glad all was OK after the iron was left on and hopefully you had enough fabric to cut a new piece. Both of those I have done and not that long ago.

    I was making a zippered pouch. You are supposed to make sure you don't unzip it all the way when sewing or the teeth will be separated. I zoned out and actually unzipped it, not once, but twice and had to replace the pull. If you've every tried that, its not the easiest to do lo!. The third time was the charm.

    I don't cut fabric or figure measurements when I'm tired. I also don't trust judgement decisions. If I make a mistake, I quit sewing, and fix it tomorrow.
