I must say I had a similar thing happen to me, only mine was a quilt kit I did not order. I called them expecting that at least they should pay the return postage. They told me it was their mistake and I was not to return the kit. I love shopping with Connecting Threads and have done so for years now. I am sorry to hear some of you have not had a good experience with CT. I have always had GREAT service and never had any problem with their products.

Hmm, I like their batting and it is a really good price. It's not real thick, but I like my quilts not too heavy

I am really surprised at this because the batting they carry is Hobbs which in my experience has been a nice quality batting. I have used Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 blend often and was never disappointed. I know I like the quality of Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 much better than the quality of Fairfield 80/20 which is what JoAnne's carries now (JA used to carry the Hobbs). I don't have too much experience with Hobbs other products though.
Perhaps you may wish to take up your complaint with the quality of the batting with the manufacturer rather than CT. They have no control over the quality of that, whereas their fabric and thread they have made specifically for them and do have control over quality. If it was a Hobbs batting you got from CT why don't you contact Hobbs directly...

I love Connecting Threads! Ordered a quilt kit to do for my Mom last year, I loved the feel of the fabric and they got it to me quick, just ordered batting when it was on sale and another quilt kit! Can't beat their prices, they have never disappointed me!
