I just have to "shout out" for excellent customer service from Connecting Threads. I placed an order week before last for some thread and decided to try their batiks. I ordered 4 different batiks. When my package arrived last week I thought one of the batiks color was way off, more off then could be attributed to monitor color variance. It was supposed to be a mottled beige and blue and what I got was mottled pink and green. So I pulled out my CT catalog and could positively ID the color I got was not the color I ordered. I called CT 800 number and explained that I did not receive the color I ordered. They took care of it right away, sent me the correct color which arrived yesterday, were wonderful on the phone and did not ask me to send the wrong color back! So I got a free yard of fabric for my stash, which incidently, plays very nicely with some fabric I have planned for my next project so I may just use it with that. Three cheers for Connecting Threads!!

I really like them, too. I need to come up with an order soon, but I just can't decide. I want thread, I want some of the Canning Day fabric, some of the Sweet Remembrance fabric, rulers, etc., etc. My biggest problem is trying to limit myself!

I love hearing the good stuff! Customer service is so very important ~ especially when nickels are so tight these days. Thank you for sharing that.

I've heard so many people say that Connecting Threads lets you keep the mistake when they send you the wrong thing, that I'm almost hoping my order gets messed up! It would be like a cool surprise package.

I love, love Connecting Threads! I can' wait to place a huge order when we get our tax refund. And Fabric.com does the same thing when they send the wrong pieces. It has happened to me twice and each time, they said keep the wrong piece.

They're a great company. I love their thread for piecing and they had black Hobbs batting at a reasonable price when I recently needed it . I did order some of their charm packs and was hugely disappointed by the fabric quality. Seemed really , really flimsy and most of the cuts were from their clearance fabrics. But everytime I order from them it arrives quickly. It's understandable that they are a forum favorite!
