I love PP and learned from a website, I think. It was very easy for me. Now doing all the patchwork piecing and intricate designs makes me crazy. I see the beautiful quilts ya'll make and I'm just blown away. I can sew on a straight line. LOL My next fave thing is applique. I'm hopeless at FMS so I had quilt most things. We all our likes, dislikes and talents.

I am working on the Farmers Wife quilt with paper piecing. Some go so smooth and then I get one that just throws me for a loop. I usually end up walking away for a week then trying again. Some of them are just set up with a more experianced paper piecer in mind I think. But I love the completed blocks. So neat, so precise and sharp. As others have already stated, Carol Doak is an excellent teacher.

Both of my hands are in the air!!!! Love, love PP... I find myself looking at even traditional blocks & thinking I can PP this. I spend way toooo much time drawing my own patterns (need to get my old Mac up & running so I can do it on there instead of hand drawing, this Mac G5 I now use is tooo compliated) & printing copies (on Carol Doak's papers). I've got to quit this! My filing cabinet is full... Did enjoy a swap PP pineapple. Great way to use up small scraps...
