Since I have trouble staying in the ditch (even with my SID foot), I decided I should sew just off the ditch. Since I can jog my needle to one side or the other, I wanted to just bump it one notch over but my SID foot has just a narrow hole for the needle to go through. When I was at the dealer's the other day, I asked about an SID foot that would allow for zig-zag and was sold the "Narrow Edge Foot" for my Pfaff. It works like a charm!

    Thanks for the hint.

I know that Betty Cotton (Cotton Theory) uses a very small zig zag stitch on quilts. I have an old Viking that doesn't seem to lkie her idea.
