    My machine came with what the instruction manual calls a 'Blind Stitch Foot." Is this the same thing as a Stitch in the Ditch foot? It looks like what I was shown at the local quilt shop, but it has a white plastic right side rather than metal. Any thoughts are appreciated.

    No ... the SID foot has like a little plough in the middle of the foot, so it can go right into the seam/ditch

    I've never used a special foot. I know they make them. I have a clear one that is multi-purposed.
