    I think it is a good idea but my sewing machine didn't like it for some reason, guess the way it wound or something.

    Have it, never use it. I find it doesn't wind the bobbin tight enough.

    Nay here too, too much trouble. Easier to wind a few before each project right on the machine.

    I bought one from Hancock's when they were on sale for $17, took it home to try it and did not like it at all! Returned it and got my money back. The reason why I bought it was because the bobbin winder on my Pfaff doesn't work properly, so I thought the bobbin winder would be good, but I had a harder time winding a bobbin on the bobbin winder than on the sewing machine.

    I love mine! Well worth the money IF you have a coupon to go with it. (I never buy gadgets without coupons)

    I have the sidewinder deluxe and love it! I never wind a bobbin on the machine anymore!
