I buy silk and wool batting when it goes on clearance at various online shops. I don't not buy it when it's at a great price just because I don't need it then. I have many packages of wool and silk batting I bought several years ago that is a fraction of the what it sells for today. Never ever pass up a clearance price on any good batting. It's like money in the bank.

Poly battings are warm, but the quilt won't breathe like cotton or other natural fibers will :D:D:D
