    I would gow with 3 or 2 in that order. Whatever you choose will be beautiful.

    I really like the 3rd one best. It will look much better with the binding, or I think it would. Would not use the lines on the edge at all. Just MHO.

    I think I would pick the first cut, because won't you lose that narrow stripe on the outer edge in 2 and 3 to the binding? if there is enough outside the narrow stripe to bind and not lose it, then I like the framing effect of 2 the best.

    I like the first one only because I would have a tough time getting binding straight enough to match the stripe!

    I have thought about placing it like #1 and cutting off the lattice looking part and using that for the binding. I have strips of the light blue that's in the 4-patch and the background of the border for the binding now.
